My boyfriend and I have gone several times for their lunch buffet, it is always so fresh and delicious! The service is top notch as well. We went for dinner for the first time last night and we were truly blown away with our meals and how their service never disappoints. Keep up the good work! Its so nice to have both a delicious meal and great service. We will be back!

I passed by this restaurant that my friend suggested, not a big restaurant but feels good, the waiter and manager were very friendly and helpful. This was my first time here and ordered takeout and didn’t realize that the wait was about 20-30 minutes long, the manager explained that all meals are fresh made. Truth is the food is so worth the wait!! The chicken naan is so delicate and delicious, and lots of small side dish/sauces are delicious too! Mango chicken is mild spicy but acceptable for someone can’t tolerate spice by the way. Definitely will be back to sit down and enjoy a real meal there!

I can confidently say this is the best "butter chicken" aka chicken makhani that I've ever had. The flavor was incredible and the chicken was fall apart tender. The spice level was riding the edge for me but I'm not very tolerant to spice so for most I'm sure it would be fine. I'm excited to try more menu items here For my second timing eating here I dined in, service was great and food was as delicious as I remembered! Pictured is the Palak Chaat as an appetizer, great recommendation from the server. As well as chicken makhani with garlic and onion naan For my third visit- tandoori chicken wings which had amazing flavor and were so moist. The menu has one hot pepper but I didn't find them too spicy and I'm fairly intolerant, so don't be scared of the spice here. I also tried chicken korma which was so flavorful. Amazing as always.

The food and cocktails were fantastic! The spicy dishes were SPICY—they do not mess around—anything above one pepper is going to rock your world. The service was great and the restaurant was beautiful. Their menu is huge and they have the largest vegan section I’ve ever seen! I also couldn’t believe how cheap everything was compared to your average restaurant. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

Fantastic, authentic buffet. Restaurant shares a description of what you are eating with small signs next to the food - this made trying all dishes very welcoming. I will eat here any time I’m in the Clifton Park area!

I am visiting this region of New York for a work related job and wanted to find a decent Indian restaurant. Indian cuisine is some of my favorite and back home in Virginia we do have a couple of local spots that are my go-to. I was looking up Indian restaurants on my phone when I immediately checked into my hotel and the first one that popped up was Spice Malabar. I saw that they had a lunch buffet and a very extensive menu consisting of traditional dishes. I ended up having the lunch buffet due to my work schedule and it was delicious. All of the staff was super friendly and welcoming. The buffet had been open for a couple of hours and I just happened to get there around 2 PM with about an hour remaining before the buffet was to be shut down for the day. The kitchen staff was constantly rotating fresh hot trays of entrees and rice with nothing getting scorched or dried out in near empty containers. I was impressed that they brought out a small basket of naan bread and a potato stuffed papadom to my table. I filled my plate with a scoop full of several dishes and piled on small appetizers and aromatic basmati rice. The flavor, the spice level, and the overall quality of the items were amazing. This is one of the best Indian buffets I’ve ever had. It was a very positive, aromatic, delicious, and filling experience. I’m only in town for approximately two more weeks and I will most definitely be returning to Spice Malabar before I go back home.

Hands down one of the best places for Indian Food in the Capital Region. The staff is courteous, friendly, attentive and welcoming. They understand your request and ensure the food is prepared as per your taste palette. The dishes were rich in flavor, well-balanced, and beautifully presented. A must-visit for anyone who loves great Indian cuisine!

Amazing Indian food in Clifton Park! I absolutely loved my meal at Spice Malabar. Finding a restaurant with such robust, flavorful vegetarian dishes is always a huge win. We ordered the sizzling Paneer Tikka, a rich, perfectly spiced Kadai Paneer, and an incredible plate of Egg Biryani. Spice level was perfect for every one. Few requested spicy and few wanted very mild. They understood and made exactly to the spice level. Everything was beautifully presented, packed with authentic flavor, and served in generous portions. I highly recommend checking them out if you are in the area!

My experience at Spice Malabar was outstanding from start to finish. When my server, Nidhin, came to take my order, I told him I was trying to decide between three different dishes. Instead of simply asking which one I wanted, he took the time to ask if I had any allergies or dietary restrictions. I told him I didn’t have any allergies, but I prefer not to eat fried foods. His response was, “I’ve got you.” And he absolutely did. He started me with an incredible chickpea and eggplant dish that was packed with flavor and perfectly matched my preferences. From that moment on, every recommendation was spot-on. It was clear that Nidhin was listening carefully and genuinely wanted to create a great dining experience rather than simply take an order. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, but what truly made the evening memorable was the exceptional service. Nidhin’s knowledge of the menu, attention to detail, and confidence in his recommendations made me feel like I was in great hands from beginning to end. Spice Malabar delivered one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Great food, outstanding hospitality, and service that went above and beyond. Thank you, Nidhin, for making the meal so memorable. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Spice Malabar to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.
